EAFA China 360 blogger competition award ceremony - second phase

Gifts to the Hungarian-Chinese Bilingual Primary School

On 15th October 2013, Mr. Rudolf Riedl, chairman of the Eurasian Friendship Association has paid a visit to the Hungarian-Chinese Bilingual Primary School, where he presented several decorative and precious gifts for the institution. The event was attended by Lajos Oláh, chairman of the Great Wall Association, the school’s deputy director Viktória Schaf, as well as Klára Zombory, general secretary of the Eurasian Friendship Association. Mr. Rudolf Riedl has handed over a beautiful ship model, lacquer vase, unique chopsticks, a pearl inlaid wall decoration, a silk pictures, a Chinese scroll painting and other presents. The school has expressed its gratefulness for the gifts, and at the plans for further assistance were outlined as well.

The Chinese-Hungarian Friendship Award was delivered on 18 November, 2013, created by the Great Wall Chinese-Hungarian Friendship Association and several organizations like EAFA to grant recognition for people who worked hard for the establishment of a solid Chinese-Hungarian relationship.

 

The award was granted to Jason Ding, CEO of Wanhua Borsodchem, Péter Madaras curator of the New World Bridge Foundation, Prof. Dr. Yu Funian, founding member of the Great Wall Chinese-Hungarian Friendship Association and posthumous honours were given to László Hudec (deceased in 1958), important architect of Shanghai.

 

The award was delivered by Lajos Oláh, state representative and director of the Great Wall Association, but Péter Szijjártó, government commissioner for Hungarian-Chinese bilateral relations coordination also participated in the event together with Xiao Qian, Hungarian ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, István dr. Ujhelyi, vice president of the parliament, Wang Hongliang, trade consultant, Rudolf Riedl, chairman of EAFA and numerous other representatives of the Chinese-Hungarian economic, cultural, scientific and social relations.

On 11th December 2013, the Mayor of the 15th district, Mr. Tamás László handed over their latest project, Újpalota’s Meditation Park. On the invitation of the Municipal Government EAFA also contributed to the inauguration ceremony of the park with some program elements. EAFA has arranged the fascinating Taiji performance of Ms. Éva Bordás and the calligraphy of Master Zhang Wei to the banner that was set in the Park.

 

In the park there is a small stream, some shrubs and saplings as well. This kind, calm environment provides the right place to relax, read or even practice taiji. László Tamás talked about how much he sets store by develop and beautify Újpalota, Budapest and Hungary, and the meditation park is another step for this.

China Expo Hungary 2014

EAFA attends CHINA EXPO HUNGARY 2014, conducted by CBTC.

 

EAFA provides information about the program and accepts student

registration to the career database at its own booth.

Opening of the event takes place at 10 A.M. on 24th of June.

Venue: AsiaCenter, west wing, 1st and 2nd floor

EAFA is organizing Asian Days in the XV. district between December 2014 and May 2015. The goal of the event series is to make the multicolored Far Eastern culture more popular among all age groups, and to strenghten the integration of the Chinese, Vietnamese and other Far Eastern people living in the district.

 

The events will be held  in the Meditation garden (Hartyán square), and in the neighboring school and kindergarten.

The programs will contain: calligraphy instruction, martial art performances and self-defense training, Shaolin obstacle course, qigong and taiji performances, MediBall, tea and gastronomy, arts and crafts, contests, Vietnamese-day with authentic program elements, bamboo dance and music programs.

The event series can be held with the support of Széchenyi Plan 2020.
